In this workshop you will learn, under the expert guidance of Osvaldo Padrón, to make a beautiful ceramic water flute inspired by pre-Columbian wind instruments. This workshop will be given in English
 

The Mexican artist Osvaldo Padrón will give you a short introduction about pre-Hispanic culture of the Aztec in Mexico and the role music played in it. He will demonstrate some of the ceramic building techniques  and help you to create your own piece of art. 

Osvaldo's broad experience as a teacher (both in Mexico and The Netherlands) makes this course accessible for any person at any skill level. It offers an opportunity to discover a new perspective from the material, get a new source of inspiration and improve your creative work.


Your wind instrument will be finished at the end of the day and will be ready to be fired after a few weeks.
