Guest Instructor: Yuk Kan Yeung
www.yeungyukkan.com
Yuk Kan Yeung is a visual artist working with porcelain and paper. She studied Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and continued her studies with a postgraduate program in ceramics at Goldsmiths’ College in London.
Her work represents an interplay between form and painted surface. Her refined, evocative porcelain objects reflect her cross-cultural background and her keen sense of form, texture, and materiality.
Chinese calligraphy, Chinese philosophy, and the visualization of personal moments serve as key sources of inspiration.
