A new wheel course is opening in Amsterdam!

Join us in the stunning, light-filled Keramiek Atelier Patty Schilder for a mixed-level wheel class that welcomes everyone with an inquisitive spirit.

Whether you're brand new to clay or you've been working with the wheel for some time, you'll find a rewarding balance between creative challenge and mental calm.

Want to make your first mug?

Teacher Liz Hepburn of Parenthetical Ceramics will show you the basics of throwing, trimming, and glazing so you begin to feel confident working with clay.

 

Want to level up your skills and start making taller or more complex shapes?

Through exercises, challenges, demonstrations, and technique practice, Liz will work with you to develop your confidence and control of the material.

 

Come spend the morning with us to clear your mind and dirty your hands.

 

Start: Friday morning, September 25, from 10:00 to 12:30. ( the lessons are in English)

This excludes tidying up. Cleaning the potter's wheel therefore does not count towards your lesson time.

Missed lessons cannot be made up, but you do have the option to make up 1 missed lesson by using the Open Studio.

 

During or after this course, you can become a member of the Open Studio to practice further and delve deeper into this art of ceramics.

 

Cost: 8 lessons: € 395.-

Includes: clay, glazes and firing, and 8 of your most favourite pieces.

Excludes: optional 8-piece set of sculpting and throwing tools at €17.50. You will receive this set at the start of the course.

 

The lessons are ongoing. This means that you can stop after 8 lessons, but also that you can purchase a new set whenever you want, for as long as you like.

 

Payment: must be transferred 1 week before the lesson, stating your first name, pottery course, and start date.
