Pottery course for beginners

6 weeks in a small group of max. 5 people, with lots of personal guidance.

Have you always wanted to work on the potter's wheel and learn how to throw pots? Then take this beginner's pottery course.

In a 6-week course, you will learn the basic techniques of throwing pots.
The group is small: max. 5 people. This makes it possible to receive a lot of personal guidance.

This beginner's course focuses mainly on the basic techniques for throwing on an electric potter's wheel: kneading clay, centering, pulling up, shaping, and finishing.

In six lessons, we focus on these different techniques and the process of pottery making.
The most important thing in this course is to practice and become skilled in the process.
It is not about producing as much as possible, because you must first master the basics before you can move on.

Your pieces will then be bisque fired, coated with a transparent glaze, and fired again.
During the course, we use white stoneware clay. Your pieces will be fired at stoneware temperature, making them dishwasher safe.
Each person can take home a maximum of 6 finished pieces.
