F.A.Q.
Q. I have no experience. Is there a beginner's class?
A. No, as the classes are designed for beginners as well as advanced individuals. Beginners get explanations about tools, materials, techniques and modeling clay. You can bring ideas of your own, or respond to the techniques I will show you.
Q. Can I follow a trial lesson?
A. I'm sorry but that's not possible. I pay a lot of attention to all my students, but especially to the newcomers. Offering the possibility of a trial, would mean that I can pay less attention to my regular students. Plus it wouldn't be fair to the people who are on the waiting list.
Q. Do you offer any workshops or classes for children?
A. No I'm sorry, but there are no classes or workshops for children. The minimum age to participate in classes and most workshops is 17. In a few cases there may be an exception to this age requirement.
Q. Regarding the 'Open Studio'. Can I use the studio in the evening or during the weekend?
A. Yes. The Open Studio is also available during the evening on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you sign up, you'll recieve a link to the calendar where you can write your name down on the day/evening that you plan to come.
Q. I want to come to the next Raku firing. What should I bring?
A. You have to sign up first in order to participate. This applies to all of my workshops. The specific dates are listed on the Raku Calendar. Once you've signed up, you will receive all the important information from me by email.
Q. I want to sign up for a raku workshop. Can I sign up for a date other than indicated on the calendar?
A. Yes, but only if you register as a group (of at least 12 people), you can apply for a Friday outside this schedule.
